Clinical Advances in Stem Cell Research

10:00 AM - Tuesday 19 June, 2018

Pre-Meeting Education at WEHI on 19 June, 2018

The replacement of cells and/or genes through regenerative medicine approaches is rapidly becoming a reality with treatments already in the clinic and potential treatments advancing through the clinical trials pipeline. The ISSCR’s Clinical Advances in Stem Cell Research program will highlight a diverse range of current and future cell and gene therapy approaches and the underlying technologies that make them possible. Speakers from industry and academics will discuss their approaches to treating disease in this clinically-focused program.

Clinical Advances in Stem Cell Research is a full-day program hosted offsite at Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, Australia's oldest medical research institute. A renowned panel of speakers will explore current cellular therapies in the clinic and those moving toward it, as well as emerging technologies and their potential impact on clinical practice.
