Welcome to the ASSCR-AGCTS-ISCTANZ 2019 joint scientific meeting
On behalf of the Australasian Society for Stem Cell Research (ASSCR), the Australasian Gene and Cell Therapy Society (ACGTS) and the International Society for Cell and Gene Therapy (ISCTANZ), as well as the local organising committees, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to ASSCR-AGCTS-ISCTANZ 2019 Annual Scientific Meetings to be held in Brisbane from Wednesday 13 to Friday November 15.
This Conference will highlight how stem cells and gene therapies can be used to understand development, create disease models and develop new treatments. These areas dovetail with new advances in cellular therapies and regenerative medicine, as well as current efforts to move these technologies into the clinic.
Complementing the idea of cell replacement, the conference will address advances in gene therapies, spanning work from vector development to clinical trials.
